Most national exams check two things: a theory test, usually multiple choice, and a practical where you operate a real radio or a simulator. You send a DSC distress alert, call MAYDAY by voice and answer the coast station. People fail the practical not because it is hard, but because they never practised on a radio. The simulator fixes that.
The certificate itself (SRC, or ROC-M in Canada, or SROCP in Australia) is issued by your national authority. This course does not issue it. It prepares you for the exam.
I teach both sides of sailing, practical training on the water and theory in the classroom, and I prepare students for the marine radio exam. Schools, clubs and instructors get separate pricing for the course and the simulator. Your students use it from any browser, and it can be set up with your coast station and your local procedures.
